Works great, very easy to use intuitive controls. Video is pretty good even when using the hdmi output to view it on a 46″ tv screen. Installed this into my semi. Someday when that fool pulls out in front of me and gets hit he can’t claim I was speeding because the GPS feature documents my speed.
It is a good quality dash cam, but I’ve been having one issue with it. When sim card is full and starts to rerecord again camera data reverts back to same date&time as was on the camera when it was first shipped. Correct Date&time as set is fine till end of record cycle on sim card. This is the 3rd time the setting of date&time reverts back to year 2000 & time to 00-00-00.
I am extremely happy with the quality and ease of use of this camera. I had another brand (Cobra) which failed within 90 days of purchase. I decided to try this one as a replacement and am so happy that I did. The video quality way surpasses the other unit especially at night. You can actually see if anything comes into the headlight beams on the video. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high quality dash cam.
Good camera but the mounting clips break easily and will not stay attached to the adhesive patches because they do not have a large enough surface area to overcome the weight of the power & GPS cables. The clamps also are fragile, several of them broke while I was placing the cables in them. There are better quality adhesive backed cable clamps available or adhesive backed cable tie mounts would work too, ones that would take a 4″ 18lb UV (remember the sun) cable tie.
Another problem I encountered was with the memory card. I read in the Q&A section on this camera that it could take a 64gb micro SD card, I bought & installed one but the camera gave me a “memory error” message. I replaced the 64gb card with the included 32gb card and the camera functioned properly.
This is a great little dash cam! My husband is a truck driver and I got him this little camera as a Christmas gift, it takes up very little space on a windshield, it has amazing wide angle lens, and perfect HD recordings.
This was very easy to install, the cords are labelled so there is no confusion, plus there is a video on the company’s website to show you exactly how to use it.
Couple of great features: Clear LCD screen so you can see what you’re recording, wide angle lens helps catch all directions, motion detector so it’s not recording while parked, has a microphone and speaker, comes with a 32g mini sd card, can set the camera to record at different intervals, gps module to embed coordinates to sd card, ability to take single pictures, you can manually lock videos so they can’t be recorded over, and you can watch it all on your computer. My husband loves it!!
This was a good purchase and still going strong 1 year later.
I bought two of these dash cams which I have had for one month now. One for my truck and one for my wife’s car. They were very simple to set up and it only took about five minutes to have them ready. I’m very impressed with the video quality and ease of use of the dash cams. I have not had any issues. The suction cups have not moved since they were installed and the cameras always stays mounted in at all times.
Very handy camera with crystal clear picture and smooth footage. With wide optics you can see all traffic and recognize buildings on side. Pretty much easy setting to personalize your needs. You need to fiddle little to mount it right in order to recognize LP.
